CTECS is excited to start the new school year with you and accommodate your Technical Skills Assessment (TSA) and Workplace Readiness Skills Assessment (WRA) needs.
School Year 2024-25
New
This year, the WRA can be offered to non-CTE students at the district’s expense. See the following resources to get started:
- Link to CTECS Non-CTE page, to sign up and get started testing your students.
Focus Lock, a new test-security feature, implemented during SY2023-24. Please review for your students before they begin testing.
Again this year, you will be using just one E-SESS organization, Idaho CTE.
The School Term field will also be used again this year to help manage testing data and differing school terms. The field will contain either “semester” or “trimester.”
Please note that regardless of semester type, all schools will register their own students for pre-tests. IDCTE will register semester/yearlong students for the TSA/WRA post-tests and retakes. Trimester schools will register their own students all year for TSA/WRA post-tests and retakes.
Reminders
- Register annually (by Nov.) completing the Test Site Administrator Registration and Agreement form. A day or two after the form has been submitted, you will receive an email from [email protected] with login instructions. Note! If you do not have the password you used last year to access E-SESS, request a password reset from [email protected] or [email protected].
- Returning test site administrators have access to student testing data from previous school years. Just log into E-SESS and follow instructions to “Change Organizations.”
- When new test site administrators are added to E-SESS, they are sent an email message from [email protected] with a temporary password and instructions to create a new one.
- Please refer to the Educator Portal for the FAQs for Idaho-specific information.
- Menu options in the left column provide additional important details. Preparation for the administration of testing is a multi-step experience and requires processing time.
- IDCTE is your primary point-of-contact for Assessment and Student Registration Questions: Kyle Luchte 208- 429-5538, [email protected] or Heather Luchte, 208-429-5512, [email protected]
